MY HAS TIME FLOWN BY!

Me February 2011. Goodbye 35 lbs!!

Me and my family Swiss days Sept. 2010

OK where do I begin with the last 9 months that I have not updated my blog? Well... we ended up moving out of the house we were renting and I am so grateful we did. We are in an apartment now and in a whole new stake and ward. That is so exciting even though we really miss our old ward. We made a decision before we moved out of our old house to move into a 2 bedroom apartment (much cheaper) and go to school and live on student funds. It was a leap but a good one and have been doing very well since August when we moved in and Mark started school. He is majoring in criminal justice. I will be starting school on Feb. 22 and I am doing integrated studies in art and visual art.

The children are doing great as usual. Ethan has a huge vocabulary and talks all the time. He thinks he a Pirate and plays as if he is captain jack sparrow or will turner and always nominates Tatum and I to be elizabeth swan. Tate is in 1st grade and is truckin along in school. She is reading fabulously and is a wiz at math. She is always off playing with her friends that she has made here in the complex. Instead of watching t.v., she is off playing outside or at a friend's house and stays very active.
Since October I have been on a whole new journey to better health. I found out in August that I have a small brain/ pituitary tumor called a prolactinoma. That has most likely been the culprit for many of my mystery health issues and is the reason my thyroid was underfunctioning. It can be the reason for diabetese insipidus(spelled way wrong I am sure!) in many people and I could have that still not sure though. I started taking an extremely expensive drug called Dostinex and it has helped 100% .It is supposed to dissolve the tumor. I feel like a whole new person and I could exercise again! Since October I have lost 41 lbs. I went from 210 lbs. I am 169 now. I am hoping to weigh 135 lbs by the middle of summer time.
