Well, I found out on December 30th that I was expecting. I was about 6 weeks along. Very unexpected to say the least but we welcomed the new surprise with open arms. Our little Caitlyn Sydnee Putnam came 6 weeks early, on July 7th, 2012 weighing 4lbs. 13 oz. and 17 1/2 inches long.
She has become such a miracle and joy in our life. She is now a month old and is doing wonderful. Finally after a 3 weeks stay in the NICU, she came home a week ago. She has gained about 11 oz. since being home, gaining 2 oz on average a day. She is playing catch up and I am grateful she is close to weighing 6 lbs now. :)
