New Piece and First time using pastels

So today I have been wasting A LOT of time. Tate got some pastels from Michaels not long ago, and I decided to draw over a painting with them today (thanks Tatum, I promise I will buy you more!!). I am a little surprised at how well the picture turned out. It took about 4 hours. I generally am done with a painting in about 2.  Well, here is my piece.

 

 

 

I really enjoyed doing this picture and feel inspired to do more with pastels. It is so much fun and relaxing. I love art. Okay well more from me tomorrow, thanks for reading!!
